The Cleveland Bible Camp of northern Nebraska will hold a fundraiser from nine until three on Saturday, April 25th at the First Presbyterian Church in
Atkinson. There will be a bake sale and garage sale. Rolls will be served from nine until eleven. A free will soup luncheon will be held from eleven until three, and a quilt raffle drawing will be held at three. -

A spaghetti feed & silent auction benefiting Teresa Legate will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the Grace Lutheran Fellowship Hall. The church is located at 508 K Street in Neligh, Nebraska.

Dr. Ralph "Yankee" Arnold will be the guest speaker at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday April 26th at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Pierce. Ralph is a pastor from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. He travels the country sharing the clear and simple gospel of Jesus Christ.

April 28 & 29, June 9 & 10
The North Central RC&D office is holding two scrap tire collection events. These events gives residents a convenient and responsible way to dispose of unwanted tires. The first event will be held from nine until five on Tuesday, April 28th and from eight until four on Wednesday, April 29th at 101 Airport Road near Springview, Nebraska. The second event will be held will be held at the O'Neill Recycling Center from nine until five on Tuesday, June 9th and then again from eight until four on Wednesday, June 10th. All sizes of car, truck, pivot, semi, and tractor tires can be brought to the event. Tire rims will not be accepted. Residents of Boyd, Brown, Cherry, Holt, Keya Paha, and Rock counties are encouraged to participate. There is no cost to bring tires. Tire retailers, as well as residents of South Dakota, are not eligible. Third Day is getting the band back together for their 30th Anniversary Tour, and they are coming to Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday, April 29th. The concert also features Zach Williams and will take place at the T-Mobile Center at 7:00 p.m. More information can be found online at ThirdDay.com.

April 30 & May 1
This year’s Niobrara Valley Conference Art Show will be held at St. Mary’s Grade School in O’Neill on Thursday, April 30th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 1st from 8:00 until 2:00. Many pieces of artwork from local students will be on display inside the school’s gym. They will also have ladies on hand to guide those who want to tour the newly restored St. Patrick’s Catholic Church next door.

Lifelight’s Z8 youth movement is going on tour this spring, bringing their Z8 nights to several churches in South Dakota & Iowa. Z8 Nights are Gospel-centered worship nights designed to unite Generation Z across churches and communities to make Jesus famous through worship, teaching, and community.
The Z8 Worship Night tour schedule continues as follows:
- Restoration Church in Sioux City, Iowa on Friday, May 1st.
- Twisted Pines in Parker, South Dakota on Saturday, May 2nd.

Chambers Community Church of Christ will have their Ladies’ May Breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with registration beginning at 8:30. Ladies will enjoy a time of fellowship & can also enjoy permanent jewelry & handmade magnets. Reservations are required & due by April 27th. Discovery Church in Yankton will host their Annual Family Conference on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. This year’s focus is on the theme of apologetics & defending your faith. There will be sessions on the power of story and imagination in apologetics, a session defending your faith on campus, and break-out sessions on biblical masculinity and femininity. Other activities include bouncy houses, carnival games, crafts, book giveaways, and lessons planned for children. Lunch will be provided. Those interested in attending can register for free at discoverychurchyankton.org. A snack stand will also run for the duration of the conference to support Missouri Valley Christian Academy.

This year’s Norfolk Area Prayer Dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 5th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the WarHorse Center in Norfolk, Nebraska. Sponsored by the Norfolk Men’s Forum, the evening will be a powerful night filled with encouragement from Tim Tebow, and focused on faith, hope, and prayer for the Norfolk community. The Southern Gospel Quartet, Legacy Five will perform at the Prairie View Gospel Barn, in Gregory, South Dakota, on Wednesday, May 6th. The concert will start at 6:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. Advance tickets are $35, tickets the day of the concert are $40, and children ten and under are free! A supper meal will also be served that night by the Berean Church Youth Group as a fundraiser for their trip to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky.

Victory Road Evangelical Free Church invites the community to a special Prayer and Worship Service in honor of the 75th anniversary of the National Day of Prayer on May 7, at 7:00 PM. This meaningful gathering will be held both in person at 1201 North Victory Road in Norfolk, Nebraska, and streamed live on Facebook for those who wish to join remotely.
This year’s event marks a significant milestone, celebrating 75 years of unified prayer across the nation. Sandhills MomCo (formerly known as MOPS) will have their next gathering on Thursday, May 14th in Burwell, Nebraska! This year's theme is "Make It Awkward" inspired by Luke 5:1-11. All moms are welcome. Sandhills MomCo meets at Calamus Trinity Methodist Church at 9:30 AM on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Each meet-up covers a different topic and stands alone. First Baptist Church in Norfolk is hosting the gospel and contemporary singing group, Westward Road, for a free concert on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to come and be inspired through music and worship. First Baptist Church is located at 404 West Benjamin Avenue in Norfolk, Nebraska. A free-will offering will be taken during the night.

Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center will have their Spring Fundraising Event on Sunday, May 17th at the O’Neill Community Center. This year’s theme is “Piercing The Darkness: Exposing The Cultural Lies About Sex & Relationships”. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the event being from 7:00 until 8:30. Admission is free. Students entering the 5th through 9th grade are invited to the 2nd annual "Write On" camp for young writers. It will be held from June 22nd through the 26th at the B.E. Adkins Kiwanis Camp. The Camp will run from nine a.m. until four p.m. Monday-Thursday, and from nine a.m. until two p.m. on Friday. Students will get the chance to hear from professional writers, practice their own craft, build a community of writers, and be published in the first ever Write On literary magazine. Ongoing Sundays
A teens bible study will take place every Sunday evening at the O’Neill Methodist Church starting on January 11th. The Bible study with Pastor Bob Wynn will meet from 6:30 until 7:15 PM. All ages from 13 to 19 are welcome and all denominations are welcome! This bible study will help to answer any questions of faith that you may have! The O’Neill Methodist Church is located at 404 Cedar Street in O’Neill, Nebraska.

Ongoing Saturdays
A men’s bible study will take place at 9:00 AM every first Saturday of the month at Teal’s Westside Diner in O’Neill, Nebraska. This study is for high schoolers on up and men from every denomination or those seeking Christ. Any questions can be directed to Pastor Bob at 402-340-2447.

Ongoing Fridays
The Clothing Closet, located at the First Christian Church in Burwell, Nebraska, is open every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome and all clothing is free. Clothing donations are also appreciated, and in-kind donations are encouraged. They also have a diaper program and offer help to foster parents. More information is available by calling Sonja at 308-750-7085.
