  • Recurring Easter Event

    Bon Homme Community Choir will present an Easter Cantata titled, “Savior, Jesus Messiah” at multiple churches across South Dakota.

    The performance schedule is as follows:

    -Palm Sunday (March 29th) in Avon, South Dakota at First Baptist Church

    -Tuesday, March 31st in Wagner, South Dakota at St. John’s Catholic Church

    -Easter Sunday (April 5th) in Springfield, South Dakota at Emmanuel Reformed Church

    All performances will begin at 7:00 PM.

  • March 26

    The national ministry, Ratio Christi, is bringing their 200-year-old Hebrew Torah Scroll to the Wausa, Nebraska high school gym! This scroll display provides a wonderful chance to see a piece of biblical history, learn what the process of the transmission of Scripture looked like, and answer questions like "Is the Bible a reliable source of truth?" "Have errors, myths, and legends been added into the Bible?" and "How did we get the Bible we have today?"  This will be an engaging evening with opportunities for you to ask your questions about the Bible and learn how to respond to hard questions with clarity and confidence. The public will be able to view the 200-year-old Hebrew Torah Scroll beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 26th. You’ll also be able to connect with other Christian Ministries from around the area! Wausa Public School is located at 300 South Bismark Street in Wausa, Nebraska. A free will offering will be taken up for Ratio Christi.

    *Ratio Christi provides training for college and high school students in apologetics, philosophy, and evangelism. They equip students with the reasons and evidence for the truth of Christianity so that they can effectively engage with and respond to the hardest questions brought against Christianity with clarity, confidence, and grace.     The public is invited to the ‘Community World on Fire’ dance performance at the Chamberlain Community Center on Friday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m. A free will donation for charity will be taken at the short program.

    The Brunswick American Legion Auxiliary spring vendor show will take place at the Brunswick auditorium on Saturday, March 28th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

    The Woodland Park Elementary - Good News Club will have their 5th Annual Easter Funfest on Saturday March 28th, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the Woodland Park School Gymnasium. The whole family is invited to come enjoy games and activities, a FREE Easter egg hunt for all children, Easter cookies, and a short video on the Easter Story.     Camp Assurance’s Annual Supper and Auction will take place on Saturday, March 28th from 4:30 until 7:30 PM at the Wayne City Auditorium. Those who attend the evening will enjoy a nice meal, while learning more about Camp Assurance, hearing testimonies from campers and staff, and finding out how to partner with the camp!   • March 29

    All are invited to come celebrate the resurrection of the Savior at Glad Tidings Bible Camp near Bloomfield, Nebraska on Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 PM. The camp is hosting a Spring Fundraiser Concert with music from piano and violin duo, Kevin & Heidi Cheng; Faithkeepers, a group of kids and Teens from Knox County, Nebraska; and the Restore Church Worship Team, A Contemporary Christian Music team from Yankton, South Dakota. The only cost is a free will offering.

  • March 29, April 5 (Easter Services)

    Christ Our Cornerstone Church in O'Neill is inviting you to their Easter church services. Their Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services will be held at 10:45 a.m. on March 29th and April 5th. Everyone is welcome to attend. Christ Our Cornerstone Church is located at 503 North 5th Street in O'Neill, Nebraska.

  • March 30-April 3

    Ewing Community Holy Week services will be held at the Ewing Methodist-Presbyterian Church, Monday, March 30th through Friday, April 3rd. Services begin at noon, with lunch served at 12:30 PM. Everyone is invited to join in and enjoy hearing a different speaker each day of Holy Week.   • Recurring Easter Event

    The First Southern Baptist Church in Gregory, South Dakota invites everyone to their presentation “On My Cross,” a celebration on the resurrection, during Holy Week. Each performance will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Palm Sunday, March 29th, Wednesday, April 1st, and Saturday, April 4th.   • April 1 & 3 (Easter Event)

    The 5th and 6th grade students at St. Mary’s School in O’Neill will present their annual ‘Passion Play’ during Holy Week. Students will act out the moments leading to the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The free performances will take place Wednesday, April 1st at 8:10 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Good Friday, April 3rd at 3:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill.

  • April 4 (Registration Closed)

    Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Nebraska will host their 15th Annual Rise-n-Run Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, April 4th at 8:30 AM! This family-friendly fun run and walk will support tuition assistance for students attending local Lutheran schools. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome for this community event that will help support Christ-centered education. Registration closes Monday, March 23rd.   • April 4 (Recurring)

    A men’s bible study will take place at 9:00 AM every first Saturday of the month at Teal’s Westside Diner in O’Neill, Nebraska. This study is for high schoolers on up and men from every denomination or those seeking Christ. Any questions can be directed to Pastor Bob at 402-340-2447.

  • April 4th

    The Verdigre National Honor Society & local youth groups will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt at Wildwood Acres on Saturday, April 4th. Registration will start at 9:30 AM with the hunt beginning at 10:00 AM. Children up to 10 years old are invited to participate! There will be lots of prizes with the grand prize being a bicycle for a boy and a girl!

    Sandhills MomCo (formerly known as MOPS) will have their next gathering on Thursday, April 9th in Burwell, Nebraska! This year's theme is "Make It Awkward" inspired by Luke 5:1-11. All moms are welcome. Sandhills MomCo meets at Calamus Trinity Methodist Church at 9:30 AM on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Each meet-up covers a different topic and stands alone. Childcare is also provided and there's no cost to attend. More information is available on the Sandhills MomCo Facebook page.

  • Recurring Spring Event

    Lifelight’s Z8 youth movement is going on tour this spring, bringing their Z8 nights to several churches in South Dakota & Iowa. Z8 Nights are Gospel-centered worship nights designed to unite Generation Z across churches and communities to make Jesus famous through worship, teaching, and community.

    The Z8 Worship Night tour schedule is as follows:

    - House of Missions & Equipping (H.O.M.E.) in Sioux Center, Iowa on Friday, April 17th.

    -Abundant Life Church in Brookings, South Dakota on Friday, April 24th.

    - Restoration Church in Sioux City, Iowa on Friday, May 1st.

    - Twisted Pines in Parker, South Dakota on Saturday, May 2nd.

    The Todd Becker Foundation will be bringing their presentation, “Hear the Story. Be Moved.” to Columbus High School on April 22nd, 2026. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the gymnasium. Doors open at 6:40 PM, with the event starting at 7:00 PM. The night will feature a live concert from the band “All the Noise”, followed by an impactful and life-changing message from Keith Becker. More information is available at toddbecker.org.

    *Started in Kearney, NE, the Todd Becker Foundation was created in the spring of 2005 following the tragic death of 18 year-old high school student, Todd Becker, in an alcohol-related car accident. Keith, who was the older brother of Todd Becker, unfolds the true, and life-changing story of his younger brother’s untimely death and the events shortly thereafter that changed his own life. Since 2005, the Todd Becker Foundation’s assembly and outreach program has reached close to 100,000 students in over 500 high schools across the nation.

    Third Day is getting the band back together for their 30th Anniversary Tour, and they are coming to Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday, April 29th.     This year’s Norfolk Area Prayer Dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 5th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the WarHorse Center in Norfolk, Nebraska. Sponsored by the Norfolk Men’s Forum, the evening will be a powerful night filled with encouragement from Tim Tebow, and focused on faith, hope, and prayer for the Norfolk community.     The 22nd annual Christian Cross Festival is returning to Norfolk, Nebraska’s Skyview Park on Saturday, June 6th. This free music festival will feature performances from Rend Collective, Leanna Crawford, Sean Rodriguez, The Band JAREN, and Outcry Collective.     Big Daddy Weave’s “Let It Begin Tour” with Megan Woods & David Leonard will be coming to Grand Island, Nebraska on Thursday June 18th!   • Ongoing Sundays

    A teens bible study will take place every Sunday evening at the O’Neill Methodist Church starting on January 11th. The Bible study with Pastor Bob Wynn will meet from 6:30 until 7:15 PM. All ages from 13 to 19 are welcome and all denominations are welcome! This bible study will help to answer any questions of faith that you may have! The O’Neill Methodist Church is located at 404 Cedar Street in O’Neill, Nebraska.

  • Ongoing Fridays

    The Clothing Closet, located at the First Christian Church in Burwell, Nebraska, is open every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome and all clothing is free. Clothing donations are also appreciated, and in-kind donations are encouraged. They also have a diaper program and offer help to foster parents. More information is available by calling Sonja at 308-750-7085.
