  • July 4

    There will be a free community cook-out on the Fourth of July at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Butte, Nebraska. Food will be served from 11:00 until 1:00 this Saturday, including hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, and chips. You can get more information by calling Pastor Willard at 402-961-9146.

  • July 4

    The O’Neill Methodist Church will hold an ice cream social at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th. There will be ice cream, brownies, outdoor games, and patriotic provided by Kevin and Heidi Cheng. Don’t forget your lawn chairs.

  • July 12

    The 4th Annual Faith & Family Night at the Dixon County Fair will take place on Sunday, July 12th in Concord, Nebraska. The concert will feature performances by Tenth Avenue North, Cade Thompson, and Joshua Luke, and is free with gate admission to the fair.   • July 13-15

    Kids will ‘put on the full armor of God’ at Vacation Bible School at First Christian Church in O’Neill July 13 through 15th. Kids from kindergarten through completed 6th grade will enjoy supper, music, crafts, fun games, and bible lessons Monday and Tuesday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., followed by a family night pool party at the O’Neill swimming pool on Wednesday from 5:30 until 8:30. They’ll have pizza, ice cream sundaes, and a family bible lesson, followed by swimming for the whole family. Registration is available on the church’s website at FCCOneill.ChurchCenter.com.

    ‘Worship by the River’ is taking place in Pickstown, South Dakota on Friday, July 17th at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to bring a lawn chair and come enjoy this time of worship led by SD Collective and Kara Hanan. It will be held at the North Point campground near Pickstown, SD.

  • July 18 & 19

    LifeLight Hills Alive is returning to Memorial Park in Rapid City, South Dakota July 18th and 19th! This free music festival will feature performances from Anne Wilson, Sidewalk Prophets, Tenth Avenue North, KB, Remedy Drive, Stars Go Dim, Sean Rodriguez, Love & The Outcome, Eli Gable, and Presence Worship.   • July 19

    Summerfest Church in the Park will take place on Sunday, July 19 at 10:00 AM in O’Neill’s Ford Park featuring music from Southern Gospel Group, Anthem Edition. Everyone is welcome to bring family and friends, grab a lawn chair, and come enjoy a great morning of worship, music, and community in the park. There will be a free BBQ lunch served after the morning worship service hosted by the O’Neill Ministerial Association.

  • July 24-26

    Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) is right around the corner! Coming up July 24th through the 26th, this three-day weekend in Sioux City is full of worship, games, friends, and lots of Jesus! High schoolers that come to TEC will have the opportunity to listen to peers talk about what God has done in their lives, attend breakout sessions with their respective teams, and make friends that will last a lifetime! If you want to experience Jesus in a way that you never have before and make some friends along the way...TEC is the place for you!

    Sidewalk Prophets is bringing their ‘Acoustic Summer Nights’ Tour to Community Bible Church in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, July 25th. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM with doors opening at 6:30 PM. More information is available at sidewalkprophets.com!

    Word of Life Church in Columbus, Nebraska is having a VBS Summer Kids Camp Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM each day. Kids ages 6 to 12 years old are invited to attend. More information is available at wolcommunity.com/our-calendar!

    A "Sound of Freedom" concert with Just the Messengers is taking place at the American Legion Pavillion in Bloomfield, Nebraska on Wednesday, August 12th at 5:00 p.m. They will sing Christian and patriotic songs and honor veterans as we celebrate 250 years of freedom for our nation.

    Livin’ Out Loud is a free Christian music festival taking place Saturday, August 15th in Gothenburg, Nebraska. This year’s lineup includes Danny Gokey, Megan Woods, Band Reeves, All The Noise, and Logan & Katie, with a special guest speaker to be announced. The music starts at 4:45 that afternoon, and they will also have a community worship service on Sunday on 10:00 a.m. More information is available online at LivinOutLoud.org.

    Jamie MacDonald and Josh Baldwin will be in Bellevue, Nebraska on Sunday, August 2nd. Their concert at the Bellevue Christian Center begins at 7:00 p.m. that night. Ticket information and other details are available online at JamieMacDonaldMusic.com.

    Phil Wickham & Jamie MacDonald will perform at this year’s Nebraska State Fair on Sunday, August 30th. The concert will take place at 6:00 PM inside the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island, Nebraska. Ticket information and other details can be found online at statefair.org.

  • September 6

    River City Assembly of God in Yankton, South Dakota will have their 3rd annual River City Family Fest on Sunday, September 6 at 10:00 AM. The event will include worship, baptisms, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, games and food. Rhett Walker will kick off the event with worship and music, then head up to Sioux Falls where he will perform at LifeLight later that afternoon. River City Assembly of God is located at 801 West 25th Street, in Yankton.

    LifeLight Sioux Falls is returning to Nelson Park in Sioux Falls on Sunday, September 6th! This free Christian music festival will feature performances from Danny Gokey, Cochren & Co., KB, Rhett Walker, Emerson Day, Jesse Labelle, and Movement Worship, and messages from Willie Robertson and Josh Brewer.   • September 12

    The Burwell Baptist Church will simulcast the 2026 Legacy Grandparenting Summit on Saturday, September 12th from 8:30 until 4:00. This summit is the only national conference focused on Christian grandparenting, and will equip you to invest intentionally in the lives of your grandchildren. Attendees will receive wisdom, hope, encouragement, and practical resources from several speakers known across the globe. Lunch and snacks will also be provided.     TobyMac, Chris Tomlin, and Third Day are going on tour this fall, and they’re coming to Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday, November 20th. Their concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena will start at 7:00 p.m. Ticket information is available online at TobyMac.com.

  • December 5

    The “Christmas Together” Tour with Michael W. Smith and friends is coming to Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, December 5th. The concert will take place at the Pinnacle Bank Arena at 7:00 p.m. Ticket information is available online at MichaelWSmith.com.

  • Ongoing Sundays

    A teens bible study will take place every Sunday evening at the O’Neill Methodist Church starting on January 11th. The Bible study with Pastor Bob Wynn will meet from 6:30 until 7:15 PM. All ages from 13 to 19 are welcome and all denominations are welcome! This bible study will help to answer any questions of faith that you may have! The O’Neill Methodist Church is located at 404 Cedar Street in O’Neill, Nebraska.

  • Ongoing Saturdays

    A men’s bible study will take place at 9:00 AM every first Saturday of the month at Teal’s Westside Diner in O’Neill, Nebraska. This study is for high schoolers on up and men from every denomination or those seeking Christ. Any questions can be directed to Pastor Bob at 402-340-2447.

  • Ongoing Fridays

    The Clothing Closet, located at the First Christian Church in Burwell, Nebraska, is open every Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome and all clothing is free. Clothing donations are also appreciated, and in-kind donations are encouraged. They also have a diaper program and offer help to foster parents. More information is available by calling Sonja at 308-750-7085.
