The Lions Club of Bristow and Lynch will hold a pancake and sausage supper from five until 7:30 on Saturday, February 25th at the Bristow Community Hall. The only cost is a freewill donation.

A Soup Supper will be held at five p.m. on Saturday, February 25th at the First Christian Church in Norfolk. Proceeds will be used for the upcoming mission trip to Haiti. A variety of soups, fingers foods and desserts will be served including some Haitian stew. You will also hear about the exciting things God is doing in Haiti. The only cost is a free will donation.

Daffodil Days, Madison County's annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, will be held March 10th through the 12th. Advance orders are now being accepted. Pick up an order form at the First National Bank and Trust at 1500 Market Lane in Norfolk. Proceeds from the sale of daffodils will benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.

A Potato Bake will be held at six p.m. on March 17th at the Laurel High School South Gym. Funds will be raised for Camp Assurance near Belden. Baked potatoes with all the fixings will be served. Baskets and pies will be auctioned, and testimonies from past campers will be shared.

The musical, Junie B. Jones, will be performed at ten a.m., one p.m., and at seven p.m. on March 23rd at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Nofolk. The musical is based on the books by Barbara Park, and features the adventures Junie B. Jones who is an outspoken, precocious and lovable first grader. The First United Methodist Church in Norfolk will hold two Lenten studies this year. The first is called Three Simple Questions. The questions Who is God? Who am I? and Who are we together? will be answered. The six week study will be held every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. beginning on Sunday, February 26th. The second study is called "Forgiveness: Letting Go" This Wednesday evening DVD study deals with the question "Why is it so hard to forgive?" The study will be held every Wednesday evening through March 28th.

Glad Tidings Bible Camp near Crofton will hold their annual Sportsman's Retreat from four p.m. on Friday, March 30th through five p.m. on Saturday, March 31st. The event is open to all men from 6th grade students and up. The speaker will be Keith Cline along with cowboy poet Rick Buoy. Professional archer, Bill Lewis, will offer instruction.
