    The event Women Mentoring Women will take place on Saturday, May 18th, at Heartland Church in Norfolk, Nebraska, beginning at 9:30 AM. This is a free event where all women are welcome to come and enjoy a morning of worship, inspiration and fellowship! The speaker will be Melanie Householder.     A Ladies Spring Brunch will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at 10:00 AM, at the Dorsey Community Church. All ladies are welcome for a time of food, fellowship and inspiration. The Dorsey Community Church is located at 50650 887th Road in Lynch, Nebraska.

    There will be a clean-up event at the cemetery in Royal, Nebraska on Monday, May 20th at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring mowers and weed eaters. They will also be setting up Memorial flag poles.

    The next Norfolk Women’s Connection meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 21st from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the Norfolk Country Club in Norfolk, Nebraska. EJ Moret will be the main speaker, sharing a message on forgiveness and God’s unconditional love. Julie Couch will lead worship, and Wayne Ohnesorg will share a special feature on butterflies. Reservations are required by Wednesday, May 15th before 4:00 PM. RSVP’s can be made by calling or texting Barb at 402-371-3710, or Jan at 402-329-4017.

    The Yankton Area Women's Connection meeting is an opportunity for women of all ages to encourage and inspire one another while enjoying a fun time of fellowship and friendship. At this meeting Auctioneer Clark Wilke will demonstrate his version of an Antiques Road Show and E.J. Moret will be the guest speaker. The dinner meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21st at Yankton’s River Rock Event Center. The cost is $10. Reservations are required.     West Point Family Worship Center invites you to join them for Scuba VBS, an unforgettable experience where your kids can dive deep into a friendship with God! It takes place Tuesday, May 28th through Saturday, June 1st and is open to kids Pre-K through 6th grade. Supper will be served each night from 6:00 to 6:30 before the VBS program.     The Jesse Paul Family will perform at the Rosedale Covenant Church in Bristow, Nebraska on Saturday, June 1st. Hotdogs will be served before the concert at 5:30 PM, with the performance beginning at 7:00 PM. The only cost is a free will offering.     EPIC Ministry’s Friends of Freedom Celebration & Fundraiser will take place at the Wakefield Civic Center in Wakefield, Nebraska on Saturday, June 1st.

    Set Sail Vacation Bible School will take place at First Baptist Church in Norfolk, Nebraska beginning June 2nd through June 4th. All children ages four years old through the sixth grade are welcome to come aboard a voyage with God as your captain where you will learn how to follow Jesus as you learn how to love others and use your gifts to serve others. A free meal will be served each evening from 6:00 until 6:30 PM with the VBS program to follow until 8:00 PM. Registration information is available at https://www.firstbaptistnorfolk.com.     Faith Community Church in O’Neill invites kids to grab their binoculars and secure their life preserver for The Great Jungle Journey, a free Vacation Bible School taking place June 2nd through the 6th. It starts Sunday the 2nd with a picnic for the whole family from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The journey will continue for kids Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm. Kids age 4 through 6th grade (based on grade just completed) are invited to join for a wild ride packed with the Bible's answers to life's big questions.     A MEGA Sports Camp will take place at Heartland Church in Norfolk, Nebraska, June 2nd through 6th, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. This camp is for kids 4-5 years old, and those who have completed grades K through 5th. Some of the sports offered are: Flag football, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, and volleyball.     Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill will hold their Shine Jesus' Light Vacation Bible School from eight until eleven a.m. on June 3rd through the 7th. You can register online at VBSmate.com/CLConeill.

    The 20th Annual Christian Cross Festival will take place at Skyview Lake Park in Norfolk, Nebraska on Saturday, June 8th. This year’s lineup will include performances by Adelaide Music, Remedy Drive, Consumed By Fire, 7eventh Time Down, Cochren & Co., & Jordan Feliz. Admission to the festival is free.     The 2024 Wayne State College Summer Speech Camp takes place June 17th through 21st in Peterson Fine Arts Hall. The event provides campers with a fun and educational experience led by Wayne State College students and faculty. Participation is open to students who’ve completed grades 7-12.     Big Daddy Weave is bringing the Heaven Changes Everything Tour to Beatrice, Nebraska on Thursday, June 20th.     The Dalton Alder Memorial Walk will be held from eleven until two on Saturday, June 22nd at the O'Neill track. The walk will promote suicide prevention awareness. Call Presley at 402 340 0942 to register. Registrations are due by June 5th.

    The 2024 Wayne State College Music Camp takes place June 24th through 27th in the Peterson Fine Arts Hall. This four-day event allows campers to have fun and make music while improving fundamental musical skills. Participation is open to students who’ve completed grades 5-12.     Rhett Walker & Ryan Stevenson will be in concert at the 2nd Annual Faith & Family Night at the Dixon County Fair. The event will take place on Sunday, July 7th in Concord, Nebraska. More details can be found on the Faith & Family Production, INC Facebook page.

    LifeLight Hills Alive, a free Christian music festival, is taking place in Rapid City, South Dakota the weekend of July 20th and 21st. Saturday’s lineup includes Renee, Social Club Misfits, Stephen Stanley, The Afters, Unspoken, and Danny Gokey. Sunday’s performers include Caleb & John, Nebraska’s own Bryan Oleson & VOTA, Peter Furler & Phil Joel, Terrian, Jordan St. Cyr, Jon Reddick, and We The Kingdom.     The 2024 Nebraska Joni and Friends Family Retreat will take take place July 29th through August 2nd at The Crossing Retreat Center in Lexington, Nebraska. This getaway offers a haven for families living with disability. At this Retreat, every member of the family will feel at home, enjoy relaxation, recreation, and fellowship with other families navigating disability.     The Nebraska Family Alliance will hold their annual Life & Liberty Gala on Thursday, August 29th at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Tim Tebow will be the featured speaker. He is a retired NFL quarterback who openly prayed on the field before games. He is also the founder of a Christian foundation serving vulnerable children and is an unwavering voice for Christian values and the unborn. Tickets are available at NebraskaFamilyAlliance.org.

    LifeLight Sioux Falls, a free Christian music festival, is taking place in Sioux Falls, South Dakota Labor Day Weekend, August 31st and September 1st. This year’s lineup includes KB, Blessing Offor, The Afters, Nebraska’s own Bryan Oleson & VOTA, Rhett Walker, Micah Tyler, Leanna Crawford, and The Newsboys.
